Marie-Pierre Habas-Gerard
I am the leader of CGI Montreal's multi-sector artificial intelligence practice. My past experience includes a variety of fields. I spent seven years in applied mathematics research and development at doctoral and post-doctoral levels. I then complemented this academic experience with 21 years in consulting roles leading digital transformation programs for international firms. As a partner and Chief Delivery Officer, I also had the opportunity to work freelance for a Montreal-based startup publishing a natural language-based solution.
My current focus in artificial intelligence is to apply intelligence to our customers' business challenges. My team designs and develops models in machine learning and operations research, and operationalizes them in line with best practices in software engineering and application security. Nothing is simple, and the challenges are great. But my passion for AI and its positive impact on different industries motivates me every day.
